3. Why We Process Your Data & Legal Basis

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Contact form inquiries: Deleted within 1 year after your request has been handled, unless a treatment relationship is established
  • Medical/treatment records: 20 years after the last entry, as required by Dutch law (WGBO)
  • Billing records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax legislation

5. Who Has Access to Your Data

Your personal data is treated with the strictest confidentiality. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Your data may be shared with:

  • Google (Calendar & Workspace): For appointment scheduling and email communication. Google processes data under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Laboratory service providers: When lab tests are ordered as part of your treatment, your relevant information is shared with the testing laboratory.
  • Other healthcare providers: Only with your explicit written consent.

We do not share your data with any other third parties without your explicit consent.

6. International Data Transfers

Some services we use (such as Google Calendar) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards are in place, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR/AVG, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure: You can request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
